West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2025 Answer key is officially released by the officials on May 9th 2025. As per the official announcement, the answer key is made available for students in the official website i.e. wbjeeb.nic.in. The objections against the answer key will be closed after May 11th 2025. The officials are yet to release the response sheets and omr sheets.

WBJEE answer key 2025 release date

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has released the WBJEE answer key 2025 on its official website. The WBJEE 2025 question paper answer key was made available for the candidates from May 9th onwards. How to Challenge the WBJEE Answer Key 2025?

Candidates who find mistakes in the answer key are allowed to raise objections against the answer key. Candidates have to pay the fee, i.e. Rs 500, to raise objections against the WBJEE Answer Key. Candidates who wish to raise objections should also provide the supporting documents. Follow the steps mentioned below to raise objections against the WBJEE exam answer key:

WBJEE Response Sheet

The WBJEE response sheet contains the responses that candidates have given for each question, along with the correct answer. The response sheets will be released soon after the release of the response sheet, and candidates can compare the response sheet with the official answer key to obtain the probable scores. Candidates have to log in to the official website in the same way by providing the required credentials to download the WBJEE response sheet.

WBJEE 2025 Results

The official date for the results commencement is yet awaited. Candidates will be able to download the results by logging in to the official website once they are made available. Candidates have to provide the required credentials before downloading the rank card. However, candidates can estimate their probable rank based on their scores in WBJEE exam using rank predictor tools.  Candidates who qualify for WBJEE 2025 are eligible to participate in the subsequent counselling and admission processes.

WBJEE Counselling Process

WBJEE 2025 was conducted on April 27, 2025. The counselling process, which includes Round 1, Round 2, and a Mop-Up round, is expected to begin in July. Students must register online, pay a non-refundable ₹500 counselling fee, and fill in their preferred college and course choices. Document verification is mandatory, and required documents include marksheets, hall tickets, category/domicile certificates, and the WBJEE admit and rank cards.

Admission fees vary: ₹3,000 for Tuition Fee Waiver (TfW) candidates and ₹5,000 for general category students. The official counselling dates will be released on the WBJEEB portal (wbjeeb.nic.in). Candidates are advised to regularly check the website, keep their documents ready, and prepare strategically to secure admission in their preferred colleges during the WBJEE 2025 counselling rounds. WBJEE Result 2025: Tie-Breaking Guidelines

Tie-breaking guidelines set by WBJEE are used in case of candidates with the same rank. Check the tie-breaking guidelines below:

• Candidates with fewer negative marks from all the subjects are awarded a higher rank.
• If the tie still exists, Candidates with more positive marks will be awarded a higher rank.
• If the tie still remains, the candidate with higher total positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie persists, the candidate with the lowest total negative marks in Mathematics and Physics will be ranked higher.
• If the tie persists further, the candidate with lower total negative marks in Mathematics and chemistry will be given higher rank.
• If the tie still remains, the candidate with higher positive marks in Mathematics (2-mark questions only) will be ranked higher.
• If the tie persists, the candidate with more positive marks in Physics (2-mark questions only) will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie continues, the candidate with greater positive marks in Chemistry (2-mark questions only) will be allotted a higher rank.
• If the tie is still unresolved, the candidate with fewer negative marks in Mathematics (2-mark questions only) will be ranked higher.
• Should the tie persist, the candidate with fewer negative marks in Physics (2-mark questions only) will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie continues further, the candidate with fewer negative marks in Chemistry (2-mark questions only) will be allotted a higher rank.
• Finally, if all tie-breaking criteria fail, the candidate’s date of birth will be considered, with the older candidate being given preference.
