WBJEE Examination Rules and Regulations Announced

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the exam rules and regulations for 2025. The candidates have to check the exam rules to avoid any issues during the examination.

The WBJEE exam is going to be conducted on April 27th,2025. The examination is going to be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper mode). The candidates need to be careful while filling out the OMR Sheet. The rules regarding filling out the OMR Sheet are also given by the Authority.

Rules and Regulations for WBJEE

Here are the rules and regulations that need to be followed while writing WBJEE

Rules and Regulations to be Followed Before Examination

  1. Candidates are advised to arrive at the exam center 30 min before the commencement of the test.
  2. Arrive at the correct location. Check the Location given on the Admit card 1 or 2 days before Exam date. If the candidate arrives at other location than the location allotted they will not be permitted to write the examination
  3. Candidates should occupy only the seats that are allotted. If they Occupy Other seats their paper will be cancelled.
  4. Candidates should occupy their seats at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  5. Candidates should not carry any printing material, calculators, pens, log tables, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, wristwatches, etc. If any candidate is found with any of the Prohibited items the candidature will be canceled.
  6. No impersonations are allowed. If any candidate is found impersonating they will be handed over to the Police.

Rules and Regulations to be Followed During Examination

  1. Check whether the OMR Number and Question Booklet Number are the same or not. If not contact the Invigilator.
  2. Candidates need to sign on the Question Booklet.
  3. The instructions will be given on the OMR sheet and the question booklet should be Covered carefully.
  4. In the Attendance sheet check that roll number, photograph, and spelling match. If there is any mismatch contact the invigilator.
  5. Rough Work can be done on the question booklet.
  6. Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall till the end of the examination. 
  7. Candidates should not discuss this with the invigilator or other candidates. Silence must be maintained during the examination.
  8. Question booklets should be opened only at the time of the commencement of the test.
  9. Candidates need to check the question booklet if there are any issues or missing pages they need to inform the Invigilator.

OMR-Related Rules and Regulations

  1. Candidates need to write the question booklet number and roll number at the appropriate places on the OMR. If the candidate writes the wrong booklet number or roll number then it may lead to OMR rejection or wrong scoring and the board will not be held responsible for this.
  2. If there is any mistake when writing the booklet number or roll number the candidate should not overwrite they need to inform the invigilator and the invigilator will strike it out or rewrite the correct numbers and they will sign.
  3. The name of the candidate needs to be written in block letters(capitals) on the OMR sheet.
  4. The candidates must avoid stray marks as having stray marks on the OMR sheet can lead to OMR Rejection.
  5. The details such as the name of the candidate, the name of the center, and the signature need to be written in the OMR Sheet.

Candidates need to carry the following documents while entering the examination hall:

A. Admit card Printed copy

B. Color Photograph which was uploaded during the Online Application

C. Any of the following Identification Cards Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Passport/Voter Card/10th Standard admit card/School ID card.
