WBJEE Registration (OPEN): Dates, Fees, Application Steps to Fill

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is a state-level test conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. WBJEE is a common entrance test for admissions to undergraduate courses like pharmacy, engineering, and architecture. Every year over 1 lakh students apply for WBJEE for entrance into these courses. 

The registration process for WBJEE involves registration, uploading of documents, form filling, and payment of fees. Application fees have to be paid before the last date for registration, after filling out the application form. The exam is scheduled on April 27th, 2025 and candidates often face difficulty in the application process. This article will walk you through the application process and how to fill out the application form.

Steps to Fill Out WBJEE Application Form

The registration process commenced for WBJEE on January 22nd, 2025 and the link will be active till February 23rd, 2025. Candidates will be able to access the application form on the official website.

Candidates can follow the steps below to fill out the WBJEE application form.

Step 1: 

Follow these steps to complete the WBJEE registration process in the first step.

• Access the WBJEE official website, wbjee.nic.in
• Go to Online Application Form Submission

• Click on ‘New Registration’.

• Read the Terms and Conditions and Click on Agree

• Enter your details in the required particulars. (Name, Father’s name, DOB, etc.)

• Give the contact information. (Gmail, phone, address, etc.)
• Create a strong password and select a security question with an answer.
• Preview the information and click ‘Submit’.

• Verify Your Phone Number and E-mail Address through the OTP.

• You will receive an application number to your mobile and email id. Save this for future reference.

Step 2:

Candidates need to log into the WBJEE candidate portal using their registration / application number and password to complete the WBJEE registration form for 2025. During the process, they will need to provide all necessary details and select three preferred exam cities for the allocation of their exam centers. Here is a brief Explanation of how to fill out the application form

• After Completion of the Registration form filling candidate will now have the application number and an option to fill out the application form. Click On ‘Fill out the Application Form’.

• There will be 2 parts to fill in the application form Upper Part will include the following details
  • Candidate Name
  • Father Name
  • Mother Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender

• The lower part will Consist of the Following Details
  • Nationality
  • State of Domicile
  • Religion
  • Category
  • Sub Category (which includes Person with Disability, Type of
  • Disability, Percentage of Disability, and Tuition Fee Waiver).
  • Other Information (includes Income Category which the candidate has to choose from the dropdown)

• Note: For Candidates of Assam and Tripura the Category will be general by default and for OCI Candidates the state of domicile will be others and the category will be general by default.
• After Completion of this, the candidate needs to fill out the qualification page. These are the details required to fill qualification details
  • Passing Status – The candidate needs to select from the dropdown “Passed” or “Appearing”.
  • Passing/Appearing Year –
    • i) If the candidate selects “Appearing”, the Passing Year will be 2025.
    • ii) If the candidate selects “Passed”, then the candidate has to choose his/her respective Passing Year from the dropdown.
  • Name of the Board from which the candidate has passed.
  • School/Institute Name & Address.
  • School/Institute Pincode.

• The Candidate has to fill in the present address. If the Present Address and Permanent Address are the same then the candidate needs to click on the check box. If not the candidate needs to give the permanent address details as well.

• For the exam Centers, the candidates are given 3 options and can choose according to their preferences.

• Upon Completion click on save and next.

Step 3:

Upon successfully filling out the application form, candidates need to upload a scanned copy of their signature and photograph in specified formats. 

• After uploading the image candidate can click on self-verify and check the photo and signature.

• Click on Save and Next and then the application form preview will appear and give the declaration and click on save and Final submit.

Step 4:

The application fee has to be paid to complete the registration process. The application fee can be paid by the feasible payment method. Candidates receive a message on the successful completion of fee payment. 

Step 5:

Candidates are displayed a confirmation page and they are advised to take a printout of the same for future reference.

WBJEE Specifications for Signature & Photograph

Only specified sizes and formats set by the authorities are accepted while uploading the signature and photograph. Candidates can use several tools to convert and reduce the image size into specified formats and upload the documents.

WBJEE Application Fee

Commencement of the WBJEE registration process is expected to start in December and candidates have to complete the application process by paying the registration fee with an available payment method.
