The second day of the TS-EAPCET/TS-EAMCET exam was held on May 3rd. The exam is conducted by JNTUH on behalf of the TSCHE. The exam for Engineering students is held from May 2nd to May 4th, i.e. across three days and two shifts. TG EAPCET 2025 3rd May Shift 2 Paper Analysis

The TS EAMCET 2025 May 3rd Shift 2 paper was generally considered easy by students. In Maths, about 45 questions were easy, with key topics including differentiation, integration, trigonometric transformations, and probability. Physics had a moderate difficulty level, with emphasis on thermodynamics, magnetism, and current electricity. Chemistry was balanced, with organic compounds, acids and bases, and equilibrium carrying high weightage. Students noted that strong basics, formula recall, and time management were essential. Since there was no negative marking, using tricks in Physics was recommended. Attempting Maths and Chemistry first was suggested to maximise scores effectively during this shift.

2025: The emphasis on application-based and numerical problems in the Mathematics and Physics sections has increased substantially, with Maths being the hardest on 2nd May, Shift 1. Chemistry remained fairly simple, which is great for students who had studied the NCERT.

2024: The hardest shift was identified as May 9, Shift 2. Students even said it was as tough as JEE Mains. Mathematics was consistently lengthy, and Physics required a strong understanding of formulas. Chemistry was seen as the simplest topic in both years.

Conclusion

While both shifts on May 3rd received different opinions, experts considered the exam to be of a moderate level. Shift 1 was considered difficult by many students as the questions were a bit lengthy and time-consuming. Shift 2 was considered easy to moderate by most of the candidates.
