Common Reasons for Application Rejections in JEE Main 2025

JEE Mains is the first stage of the examination process and hence a crucial step in deciding your future. NTA has made the registration portal active from October 28 to November 22, 2024. The application process for the JEE Mains 2025 is a crucial step and candidates often make a few mistakes which can lead to their application rejection.

• Multiple Application Forms: Candidates can submit only one application form, and submitting multiple application forms can result in application rejection.

• Not Following Strict Guidelines: Signature and photographs need to be uploaded in the specified formats and failing to stick to those size specifications might lead to application rejection.

• Incorrect JEE Main identification number: Candidates must enter their identification number accurately when filling out the application form. The JEE Main identification number is crucial for verifying the applicant’s identity and ensuring the authenticity of the details provided.

• Incorrect Category Number: Students from the reserved categories have to provide their category certificate number. NTA can reject the application if candidates fail to provide the correct category certificate number.

Filling the Application process in JEE Mains 2025 is a crucial step and here are some important points to keep in mind in order to avoid application rejections.

• Take Time: Take time and carefully check all the details that you need to provide to complete the application process.

• Pay fee on time: Ensure that you pay the application fee within the specified time set by NTA to avoid rejection. Try to pay the fee much before to avoid any last-minute rush.

• Stick to the size requirements: Upload the documents in the specified formats and sizes. You can use some online tools and make sure they align with the requirements. 

• Don’t wait for the Deadline: Submit your application in advance can help you deal with any discrepancies with applications and fee payment.

• Save the Confirmation page: Although the authorities notify candidates of the successful submission via email and mobile number, Candidates must ensure they download the confirmation slip of the JEE Main 2025 application form.

It is advised to login regularly with the credentials and check their application status inorder to inform the authorities quickly incase of any discrepancies.
