If you have not yet registered for JEE Advanced, then this is your last chance for admission to the top IITs. The window to register for JEE Advanced 2025 is set to close on May 2nd, 2025, which is today!!

IIT Kanpur will close the JEE Advanced 2025 registration window at 11:59 PM. However, once registered, the candidates can pay the application fee until May 5.

All the candidates who have cleared the JEE Main 2025 cutoff can appear for the JEE Advanced 2025. To register, candidates must complete the registration process by today at the official website, jeeadv.nic.in/applicant.

The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2025 conducted by NTA, is scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 26, 2025. JEE Advanced result is expected to be released on 9th June 2025. Candidates who make it to the top 2.5 lakh in the JEE Main 2025 rankings across all categories are eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam.

How to Register for JEE Advanced 2025?

Candidates can check the steps below to register for JEE Advanced 2025.

  • Visit the Official Website: https://jeeadv.nic.in/applicant.
  • Log in using JEE Advanced Credentials, i.e., roll number and password.
  • Provide the Security Pin displayed on the screen.
  • Click on the “Login” button.
  • After logging in, you’ll be directed to the registration form. And review all the information carefully before proceeding.
    • Enter your personal details: Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, etc.
    • Provide your academic details, such as year of passing, board name, marks obtained, etc.
    • Select your Preferred Examination Cities.
    • Choose your Language Preference for the question paper.
  • Upload all the scanned copies of the necessary documents and ensure that all documents are in the prescribed format and size.

JEE Advanced 2025 Admit Card

JEE Advanced 2025 Admit Cards will be released online at the official JEE Advanced website on 11th May 2025, after the completion of the registration process. The admit card will also include some important details – the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date and time, test center address, and an important set of instructions. Candidates will be required to download and print the admit card, as well as show a valid photo ID in the exam hall. Candidates will also not be allowed entry into the exam venue without the admit card and ID proof, under any circumstances.

JEE Advanced 2025: Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates should follow the given exam day guidelines for JEE Advanced 2025.

  • Have the Necessary Documents: The JEE Advanced Admit Card (a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, etc.) is mandatory. Entry into the exam hall will not be permitted without the mentioned documents.
  • Report to the Exam Centre on Time: Candidates should report to the exam centre at least 60–90 minutes before the exam commencement time. Candidates arriving late will not be allowed to enter the exam hall under any circumstances.
  • Follow Security Procedures: Candidates must comply with all frisking and biometric verification procedures. Candidates must ensure not to carry any banned items into the exam hall, like mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets.
  • Dress Code and Stationery: Candidates must wear light clothes and comfortable clothing. There should be no metallic items in their clothing. Candidates may bring a pen, pencil, and transparent water bottle with them. Candidates will be required to do all rough work in the scribble pad provided.
  • Follow CBT Instructions Carefully: The exam will be held in the mode of Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates will need to read the instructions displayed on the screen before commencing the exam carefully.

JEE Advanced 2025: JoSAA Counseling

3. Choice Filling: Candidates will need to fill in their choices of institutes and programs in order of preference. The choice filling process will typically open in July 2025 and close in August 2025.
