JEE Advanced 2025 is the second stage of the JEE exam and is a gateway for the most prestigious institutions like IITs. JEE Advanced consists of 2 papers and is conducted in 2 sessions in a day. Uploading the scanned documents and application fee payment is the process that should be followed to successfully complete the application process.
Aspiring candidates should consider that like JEE Mains application correction there is no provision for correcting the application form in JEE Advanced 2025. Once the candidate has submitted the JEE Advanced application form any corrections in the application form will not be allowed. Preference for eight exam centres can be chosen for the JEE Advanced exam and they are allotted one among those. Eligible Candidates to Register as Foreign Nationals for JEE Advanced
The following candidates are considered foreign nationals:
Foreign Nationals:
- Candidates who are not citizens of India (by birth or naturalization), excluding Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) who obtained their OCI/PIO card on or after 04.03.2021, will be considered FOREIGN NATIONALS.
- Foreign national candidates are not required to appear for JEE (Main) 2025 when registering for JEE (Advanced) 2025. They may directly register for JEE (Advanced) 2025, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria outlined below.
- All foreign national candidates will be considered separately, in addition to the 2,50,000 Indian national candidates who qualify to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2025.
- All seats for foreign national candidates will be supernumerary, with a cap of 10% of the total seats in each course. These candidates are not eligible for reservations under GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, or PwD categories. There are no separate supernumerary seats or sub-categories for females in the foreign national quota.
PIO/OCI Candidates:
- OCI/PIO candidates who obtained their OCI/PIO cards after 04.03.2021 will be considered foreign nationals and must fulfill all eligibility criteria applicable to foreign nationals, as per the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s decision dated February 03, 2023, in Writ Petition (Civil) 891/2021.
- OCI/PIO candidates who obtained their OCI/PIO cards before 04.03.2021 will be considered Indian nationals and must fulfill all eligibility criteria applicable to Indian nationals, as per the same Supreme Court decision.
