KCET Counselling 2025: The KEA has released the seat matrix for both Engineering and Architecture under different quotas at kea.kar.nic.in/. The candidates can check the availability of colleges and courses here. The candidates can check the below table to download the KCET 2025 Seat Matrix.

KCET Option Entry

The facility of Option Entry for the first round has started. The candidates who qualified for KCET will be able to start filling their preferred options of institutes/colleges and courses from 23-07-2025. The candidates must be careful while filling in their options because the seat allotment is based on the choices they enter during the option entry process. After the first round of the option entry process, the examination authorities will release the mock seat allotment results. Candidates who are unsatisfied with their mock allotment results will be allowed to change their preferences.

KCET 2025 Option Entry Procedure:

Here is the procedure to be followed by the candidates for the KCET 2025 Option Entry:

Step 1: Visit the KCET Option Entry Link, https://keaonline.karnataka.gov.in/ugcet_opt_entry_2024/main/index.php

Step 2: After clicking on the link, enter your CET Number (which will be available on your online verification slip) and the captcha to submit the form

Step 3: The list of colleges and courses will be displayed on the screen. Select your preferred options of colleges and courses.

Step 4: After submitting your choices of colleges and courses, take a printout for future reference

KCET 2025 Online Verification Slip

The KEA has previously released the KCET Verification Slip 2025 through its official website. The candidates who attended offline verification can start downloading the Verification Slip. The candidates require KCET Application Number, Applicant Name and Date of Birth to download the KCET Verification Slip. The candidates who only receive their verification slip are eligible for the Option Entry process.

KCET 2025 Counselling Process

The procedure of the KCET 2025 Counselling will be done in four main steps. The detailed process is as follows:

1. Document Verification and Registration:

• After the release of the KCET 2025 results, all the qualified candidates will undergo the Document Verification process.
• The qualified candidates must visit the helpline centres (scheduled by the authorities) to start the document verification process.
• The candidates must carry all the required original documents for verification along with two or three copies of the original documents.
• All the documents will be verified by the authorities. After verification, they will provide an acknowledgement card or a verification slip to the candidate.
• The candidate must check all the details mentioned in the verification slip or acknowledgement card before leaving the helpline centre.
• No changes will be made to the verification slip after leaving the venue.

Required documents for the Counselling Process:

Below are the documents required for the KCET 2025 Document Verification process:

1.  KCET 2025 Application Form printout
2. KCET 2025 Admit Card
3. 10th Class (SSC) Marks sheet
4. 12th Class (Second PUC) Mark sheet
5. Study Certificates of the candidate (Past 7 years)
6. Two recent passport-size photographs of the candidate
7. Kannada Medium Certificate of the candidate (If Applicable)
8. Caste and Income Certificates (If Applicable)

2. KCET 2025 Choice Filling and Locking:

• The candidates who completed the KCET 2025 document verification process can start filling out the college options through the official website.
• The candidate can log in to the official website with the required login credentials and find the choice-filling link.
• After logging in, the students can fill in the college and course options based on their preferences and ranks achieved.
• The candidates can also check the KCET 2025 Seat Matrix at the time of Choice Filling through the official website.
• The candidates can also be able to modify the selected college and course options in the KCET 2025 Choice Filling.

3. KCET 2025 Seat Allotment:

• After filling in the choices of colleges and courses and the locking process, the KCET 2025 Seat Allotment will be released through the official website.
• Based on the candidate’s KCET 2025 rank, category, colleges, and courses they prefer, the seat will be allotted to the candidate.
• The candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seats will have to confirm the seats by paying the fee and downloading the seat allotment order slip. The fee payment will confirm the admission of the candidate.

4. Reporting to the respective Colleges:

• After the seat allotment process, the candidates should report to their respective colleges.
• The candidates must carry the required documents along with the KCET 2025 Allotment order slip.
• To confirm the admission, the candidates must pay the tuition or admission fee to the respective colleges.
