TG EAPCET Exam Analysis 2025: Student Reviews For May 2nd Paper 1 and Paper 2

According to student reviews from the TS EAMCET 2025, May 2nd – Paper 1 & Paper 2, here is a summary of what students perceived about the exam.

Shift 1

Toughest Paper: Mathematics

According to student feedback, the first shift of the TS EAMCET exam on May 2nd was on the tougher side. However, the overall take was that the Mathematics section of the exam was tougher for several reasons. Firstly, many candidates faced time constraints while solving 20-25 difficult problems. Some said that the maths questions resembled the JEE Main Questions. This made the physics questions difficult, with about 14 questions on the exam, particularly from the areas of Thermodynamics, Wave Optics, and Current Electricity. The chemistry portion of the test was on the easier side in that more than 25 questions were direct questions, and many of the questions were rated as easy to moderate, particularly Organic and Physical Chemistry questions. A few students expressed their frustration over the paper due to a few discrepancies and absurd facts in some of the problems. This might be enough for them to expect grace marks regarding the incorrect questions, approximately 11 marks in total.

Shift 2

Overall, students rated the TS EAMCET 2025 Shift 2 exam as moderate. The Mathematics section, despite being manageable in terms of question difficulty, was lengthy, leading to time constraints. Physics posed challenges due to its conceptual nature. Chemistry was the easiest section, with direct and theory-based questions, especially from Biomolecules, Polymers, and Atomic Structure. Overall, students felt this shift was better balanced, and most did not face issues with ambiguous questions.

TG EAPCET Exam Analysis: 2025 Vs 2024

Candidates can check and compare the TG EAPCET exam analysis 2024 with the analysis of the current year.

Subject TS EAMCET 2025 TS EAMCET 2024
Mathematics Most challenging subject. Lengthy and calculation-intensive. Around 40–45% of questions required complex computations. Moderate to difficult. Emphasis on Matrices, Complex Numbers, Probability, and 3D Geometry.
Physics Challenging subject. About 60% of questions were numerical, requiring deep conceptual clarity.  Moderate to difficult. Mostly formula-based; key topics: Gravitation, Modern Physics, Semiconductors.
Chemistry Easiest section. Approx 75% of questions are from NCERT, making it highly scoring.  Easy to moderate. Balanced mix from Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry, mostly NCERT-based.

Observations

2025: The emphasis on application-based and numerical problems in the Mathematics and Physics sections has increased substantially, where Maths being the hardest on 2nd May, Shift 1. Chemistry remained fairly simple, which is great for students who had studied the NCERT.

2024: The hardest shift was identified as May 9, Shift 2. Students even said it was as tough as JEE Mains. Mathematics was consistently lengthy, and Physics required a strong understanding of formulas. Chemistry was seen as the simplest topic in both years.

Conclusion

TS EAMCET 2025 May 2 papers were of a different level of difficulty in both shifts, so it gave students different exam experiences. Shift 1 was generally regarded as slightly more difficult, given the complicated Mathematics section and Physics-based questions grounded in concepts. Chemistry, however, was accessible in both shifts. In contrast, Shift 2 was on the easier side of the spectrum and was a more balanced version of Shift 1 by having straightforward questions across subjects, which would have been a relief to have as a candidate. Students aiming for 80+ marks in both shifts were seen as being in a good position.
