MHT CET PCM Exam Analysis: Student Reviews For April 27th Shift 1 and Shift 2
According to student reviews from the MHT CET 2025, April 27th – Shift 1 & Shift 2, here is a summary of what students perceived about the exam.
Shift 1: Students considered the MHT CET paper pattern to be moderate to difficult. The Maths paper was particularly found to be challenging as students reported not only the degree of difficulty but also mentioned options being incorrect, or didn’t even have an answer option.
Shift 2: The MHT CET paper pattern was still moderate, and Maths had a long section. But students didn’t have the technical issues that were found in shift 1. Most students managed the paper and their time
Conclusion
The MHT CET 2025 PCM papers, conducted on April 27th, presented mixed experiences for candidates across both shifts. Shift 1 was characterised by a severe technical glitch, especially in the Mathematics papers, with multiple questions presenting incorrect options or missing options altogether, causing a real cause for concern for students, leading to significant consequences. Whilst shift 2 was executed relatively smoothly and bore a more even structure, however, time-intensive questions were there, especially in Mathematics and Physics
Across both MHT CET PCM papers, Chemistry was the easiest and most scoring section, with Chemistry sourced mostly from NCERT textbook questions. Physics examined students on the understanding of concepts, but they also need to calculate things quickly and coordinate their time during the test. Lastly Mathematics section, students must have skills in problem-solving and efficient time management, as noted still primarily from shift 1’s experience. However, every candidate still ultimately had an experience.
