The Admit Card for the JEE Main exam Session 2 is released on 28th March 2025. The JEE Main session 2 registrations closed on February 26th,2025. The Exam for JEE Main Session 2 will be conducted from April 2nd to April 8th, 2025. Before the admit card, the city intimation slip will be released, and the candidates can check the exam center and the date of the examination, which will be available on the official website. Here are the steps on how to download the admit card

  • Visit the official website(jeemain.nta.nic.in)
  • The Link for the JEE Main Admit card will be available on the official website: JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card
  • Login with the Application Number and the password.

    • Application Number and Date of Birth
    • Application Number and Password
  • Download the Admit card and save it for future reference
  • The candidates need to carry the admit card for the examination.

How do you recover a forgotten password and application number?

The Application Number and password are important for the candidates who have registered for JEE Mains. The Application number and password are used to download the admit card and results. The rank card and city intimation slip can also be downloaded using the city intimation slip and password

  • Visit the official website
  • Access the Login link
  • Click on the “I Cant Access My Account?”
  • You can choose the “ I forgot My Application Number”

  • Click on the submit button, and the Application Number will be displayed

  • Visit the official website
  • Access the Login link
  • Click on the “Forgot Password”

    Three ways to reset the password will be available
    • Security question
    • Verification code
    • Reset Link
  • Select any of the ways and enter details such as Candidate Number, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and date of Birth, and all the details must be given according to the 10th or equivalent Marksheet.
  • Click on the submit button and reset link for the password will be sent to the candidate

  • JEE Main Admit Card
  • Photo ID (The Photo ID should be the same as for registration).
  • Self-Declaration Form(If applicable)(During COVID-19, it was mandatory).
  • PwD Certificate(If Applicable)
  • Candidates are advised to carry a Black Pen or Blue Pen.

Points to Remember While Downloading the Admit Card

Here are the points to remember while downloading the Admit card 

  •   Keep your application number, date of birth, and security PIN ready for login
  •  Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for a smooth download experience. Avoid using mobile browsers if possible.
  • Verify all the details on the admit card
    • Candidate’s Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Exam Date, Time, and Center
    • Photograph and Signature
  • Save the PDF file of the admit card on your computer or phone. 
  • Candidates with incomplete applications will not receive their admit cards.
  • Ensure the entire admit card has been downloaded correctly without missing pages or blurry text.
  • Carry the Admit Card to the Exam Center. Without the admit card, entry to the exam hall will not be permitted.

Dress Code for JEE Main Session 2

Candidates appearing for JEE Main Session 2 must adhere to a specific dress code to ensure the fair and smooth conduct of the examination. According to the guidelines issued by the NTA (National Testing Agency).

  •  Clothing with large buttons, embroidery, metal items, or accessories such as brooches, badges, caps, or scarves is strictly prohibited. 
  • It is recommended to wear half-sleeved shirts or T-shirts without pockets and plain trousers or jeans without any metallic designs.
  •  Candidates should refrain from wearing shoes with thick soles, high heels, or footwear containing metal parts
  • Slippers or sandals with thin soles are preferred. Additionally, any type of jewelry, watches, or electronic accessories like smartwatches, fitness bands, or Bluetooth devices are not allowed inside the examination hall. 
  • If a candidate wears specific attire for religious or cultural reasons, they must arrive at the exam center early for thorough checking. Adhering to the prescribed dress code is mandatory, as failure to comply may result in denial of entry into the examination hall.

City Intimation Slip for JEE Main Session 2 

The City Intimation Slip is issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) a few days before the release of the admit card. This slip contains information about the city where the candidate’s exam center will be located. However, it does not act as an admit card and cannot be used to enter the examination hall. The main purpose of the City Intimation Slip is to help candidates make travel and accommodation arrangements in advance, especially if their exam center is located in a different city. Candidates can download the City Intimation Slip from the official JEE Main website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) using their application number and date of birth.

Admit Card

The Admit Card is a mandatory document that allows candidates to enter the examination hall and appear for the JEE Main exam. It is usually released a few days after the City Intimation Slip. The Admit Card contains crucial information such as the exam date, shift timing, exact exam center address, candidate’s photograph, signature, and exam instructions.
