AP-EAPCET Dress Code for Male & Female: Exam Guidelines

AP-EAPCET is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE). AP-EAMCET provides a chance for candidates to secure admission into prestigious colleges for undergraduate courses like Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy. AP-EAMCET exam will be held from May 21st to May 27th, 2025, and Candidates preparing for the exam might have to go through a hectic exam preparation process. AP-EAPCET Dress Code for Male Candidates

Male candidates are advised to wear simple clothing and avoid complex clothes while going to the exam centre. A simple attire will prevent you from multiple security checks and saves you a lot of time. Male candidates can follow the dress code mentioned below:

• Upper Wear: Avoid T-shirts/Shirts with heavy-looking images and graphics, wear plain T-shirts/Shirts for the exam. Avoid wearing hooded T-shirts or shirts with large buttons, as they might consume a lot of time during security checks.

• Lower Wear: Avoid pants such as cargos and torn jeans, as they can raise security concerns. Wear simple trousers or chinos etc.

• Accessories: Avoid wearing jewellery like bracelets, rings, etc, as metallic items are prohibited inside the examination hall.

• Footwear: Avoid wearing footwear with thick soles as they might require additional checking. Prefer wearing shoes or sandals.

AP-EAMCET Dress Code for Female Candidates

A casual attire like kurtas, shirts or T-shirts can ensure comfort and convenience for female candidates. This simple attire helps you avoid multiple security checks, here’s a dress code for female candidates:

• Upper wear: Plain kurtas, shirts, or T-shirts are recommended. Avoid heavy embroidery, multiple layers, or frilly dresses to minimize security checks. Also, refrain from wearing clothes with metal elements, such as belts or underwired bras.

• Lower Wear: I prefer wearing leggings and jeans. Avoid wearing cargo pants distressed jeans, etc.

• Accessories: Maintain a simple hairstyle while appearing for the exam and avoid wearing jewellery like bracelets, hair clips, rings, and necklaces.

• Footwear: Opt for simple chappals or sandals. Avoid heels, boots, or any footwear that could draw unnecessary attention or cause discomfort during the exam.

Guidelines for the AP-EAPCET 2025

Candidates are advised to stick to the following guidelines to avoid discrepancies and ensure a smooth examination experience: 

• Arrive on Time: Arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam commences, this can help you complete security checks and other formalities without rushing.

• Documents: Carry the set of required documents, which include an admit card, passport-sized photograph, photo identity card such as aadhar/PAN/voter ID, etc.

• Frisking Procedure: Be prepared to undergo mandatory frisking before entering the examination hall. Cooperate with the security personnel to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

• Seating arrangement: Settle in your designated seat after entering the examination hall. Stay calm and wait for the invigilator’s instructions.

• Follow Instructions: Pay close attention to all instructions provided by the invigilators and those printed on the question paper and answer sheet.
